I help people and organizations become the success they were built to be.
Twenty-five years across corporate settings, government, higher education, and the pulpit taught me the same lesson everywhere: people change when someone shows them how. That's the work I do now.
One mission has followed me through every room: transformation.
I've spent my career moving between rooms most people keep separate, the university deanship, the corporate boardroom, and the community I serve. In every one of them, I found the same thing: people don't fail for lack of ability. They fail for lack of someone willing to teach them the next step.
I hold doctorates in Accounting, Management, and Higher and Adult Education, along with a Master of Taxation and several other graduate degrees. I've served as Dean and Associate Dean at multiple universities, led accreditation efforts, chaired more than a dozen doctoral dissertations, and advised individuals and businesses through complex tax and financial decisions.
But the career I lean on hardest is simpler: at heart, I'm someone who transforms people through service, guidance, and the written and spoken word. I've written more than a dozen books, including The Seven Pillars of Achievement, because I believe the principles behind success can be taught, and I want to be the one who teaches them to you.
Five ways I can work with you
Each one draws on the same experience — teaching, leadership, and a genuine investment in helping people get better.
Keynotes & Speaking
A message built around the principles that help people and organizations grow, perform, and become great — shaped to your audience and delivered with the energy of someone who's lived it, not just studied it.
My topics range from leadership and organizational performance, servant leadership, and success principles for personal development, to organizational development, employee development, and human development. I also speak on building a culture of excellence, leading change and organizational transformation, overcoming adversity and resilience, team building for a high-performance culture, purpose and faith in professional life, and doctoral and career mentorship.
Corporate & Academic Training
Half-day or full-day workshops that build real capability — not just a good afternoon — drawing on decades of graduate-level teaching and organizational leadership experience.
Sessions cover leadership development, organizational development, and employee and human development, along with building high-performing teams and organizational change management. I also train on business communication and presentation skills, data-driven decision-making, curriculum and assessment design, faculty and staff development, accreditation and institutional effectiveness, and project and operations management.
Executive & Doctoral Coaching
One-on-one or small-group coaching for people navigating a dissertation, a promotion, or a career pivot — drawing on having chaired more than a dozen dissertations to completion.
Coaching areas include dissertation planning and research methodology, prospectus and proposal development, academic writing and time management, career transition and executive presence, and leadership growth for first-time managers and deans. I also coach on work-life balance for adult learners, navigating imposter syndrome, building confidence as a public speaker, and translating academic research into real-world impact.
Event & Conference Design
I help plan and headline events built around growth and leadership — from the run of show to the closing message that sends people home changed.
I work with organizers on agenda design and speaker lineups, session flow and pacing, leadership retreats and staff development days, scholarship banquets and award ceremonies, financial literacy workshops, and faith-based conferences and men's or women's ministry retreats. I can also headline the event myself, or simply help design an experience that fits your goals, your budget, and your audience.
Ministry & Teaching Engagements
Guest preaching, teaching series, and book club discussions rooted in the same principles of purpose and personal growth that run through everything I do.
Message topics include purpose and calling, stewardship and financial faithfulness, servant leadership in the church and the workplace, perseverance through adversity, walking in your gifts, discipleship and spiritual growth, and building strong families and communities of faith. I'm also available for teaching series, scripture-based book club discussions, and guest sermons for special services and anniversaries.
Books & Writing
Practical guides on success, accounting, and personal growth — written for people who want the real answer, not the theory.
